Bill has been in the recruitment industry for 28 years, as an agency recruiter, recruitment trainer and now a world figure in the industry due to his ground breaking work with Social Recruiting. Within a few years, he has taken #tru and turned it into a global brand along with being recognized in the top ten most influential people in the world with regard to HR.
Johnny is CEO of Social Talent, based in Dublin and Europe’s leading provider of online and social media training specific to the Recruitment and Staffing industry. To date he has trained thousands of recruiters from corporate recruitment departments and agencies alike both offline in a classroom environment and online.
Johnny is particularly well known for his weekly Wednesday webinars where he freely shares his vast knowledge of Social Recruiting techniques.
Jackie is an Employment Relations Officer with the Labour Relations Agency. She works in the Agency’s Advisory Services which promotes good employment practices through delivery of workshops, seminars and assistance with the development of employment policies/procedures. Prior to this Jackie worked in a large voluntary organisation and has extensive practical human resource experience having worked in that particular field for over 15 years.
Martin is Director of Sourcing & Research at Social Media Search where he heads up our team of over 30 UK researchers providing a suite of recruitment and research services. Martin is a recognized expert in Internet Sourcing. He runs the LinkedIn Group Cool (free) tools for recruiting which is a hot bed of sourcing ideas and inspiration.
Martin has been a regular track leader at #TruEvents as well as keynote speaker at this years SOSUEU and Discover Sourcing events.
Oscar is a Recruiting Specialist and Founder of Recruiting Essentials, with over 15 years experience in the recruiting space, currently a Senior Contract Recruiter EMEA for Sonos, The Wireless HiFi System. He works internationally on exciting recruiting and sourcing projects, providing businesses with recruiting expertise and talent identification services.
Oscar lives in Amsterdam and has been a regular speaker at #truEvents. Recently he was a speaker at SOSUEU the first dedicated sourcing event in Europe and then at Discover Sourcing, the first dedicated sourcing even in the UK.
Rolanda has been an Employment Relations Officer with the Labour Relations Agency for approximately 13 years. During this time she has worked within Dispute Resolution and Advisory Services – promoting good employment practices. Prior to this she worked in Human Resources within private sector organisations.
Shane McCusker spends his career trying to fundamentally improve the world of recruitment. This centres around his company Intelligence Software, where he develops technology to help recruiters make more placements with less effort. He is well known throughout the recruitment industry for his blog and regular recruitment technology webinars which are viewed by thousands of recruiters in countless countries around the world.
Shane is from Belfast where he spends most of his time with regular trips to Intelligence Software’s second office in South Africa.
Sam McIlveen is General Manager at NIJobs.com which is part of Saongroup.com a worldwide leader in recruitment advertising. Sam took control of NIJobs in June 2013 having spent most of his career in media and advertising.
We are delighted to have Sam’s involvement in #truBelfast as he has been massively supportive in the organization of the event. Given NIJobs’ position as a leading Northern Ireland Job Board he is an expert commentator on the changing role of adverting in the local market.
Stephen has been actively involved in the professional recruitment sector since 1987, owning and running recruitment agencies since 1993. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (REC).
His current expertise is in online recruitment, where, in 2000, he established the UK’s first comprehensive online portal to every recruitment resource, including recruitment agencies, employers, consultants, job-board and publications – www.alljobsUK.com.
He devised, and has continued to run the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs) since 2001. He has now launched a new company, PC Evaluate Ltd, to deliver low cost, mobile-friendly, personality profiling to employers for use in recruitment, training, and HR planning.
Stephen is originally from Airdrie but now based in Glasgow hence the name of his very popular and entertaining recruitment blog Aye-right.
